Het lijkt er wel op want bij onze bouvier Niké zijn, sinds we hem behandelen met dit supplement, de ontsteking aan zijn neus en het tumorachtig gezwel aan zijn teentjes helemaal weg en hij lijkt er zich goed onder te voelen.
Achtergrond
Het betreft een oude hond van 12,5 jaar inmiddels en toen de ontsteking c.q. het gezwel geconstateerd werd, was hij 11 jaar, in ieder geval te oud om nog veilig onder narcose te brengen.
We durven niet te beweren dat het om een (al of niet kwaadaardig) kanker gezwel ging. Daarvoor moet je op zijn minst een biopt (stukje weefsel) laten onderzoeken en ook dat durfden we vanwege zijn kwetsbare gestel niet aan.
Inmiddels oogt hij vitaal en toegegeven loopt hij er bij als een energieke bejaarde, want dat is hij natuurlijk wel, maar het gezwel is weg en de ontsteking ook.
Het begon allemaal na de dood van zijn halfbroer Diego, een Bouvier die eerder op een weerwolf lijkt dan een hond, maar met een enorm zachtaardige inborst.
Bij Diego waren ook tumoren aan zijn tenen geconstateerd, maar vanwege de slechte conditie van zijn hart durfden we een operatie niet aan. Binnen een jaar was onze grote lompe lieveling dood. Op oudejaarsnacht nog wel en we worden er nog steeds verdrietig van als we er aan terug denken vooral zo tegen het eind van het jaar.
Hoe dan ook toen Niké een ontsteking op zijn neus kreeg had mijn vrouw gelukkig een artikel over cat’s claw (kattenklauw) gelezen waarin dit medicijn geroemd werd vanwege zijn ontstekingsremmende werking en waren er ook goede resultaten met honden bereikt. Toen we in de weken die daarop volgden een gezwel aan zijn tenen ontdekten vreesden we het ergste.
We hebben toen Niké om de andere dag een capsule gegeven en langzaam genas zijn neus het eerst en na verloop van tijd was ook het gezwel aan zijn tenen niet verder meer gegroeid en nu dus helemaal verdwenen.
Geweldig toch! Kan die samen met zijn jonge vriendin Nika van z’n oude dag genieten…

I am asking this since they seem to load alright in Chrome, Firefox, MS edge, MS ie, and oddly enough only safari seems to have some probs with some parts of some layouts, which makes it quite difficult to troubleshoot.
